Adirondack Hotel Men's Association

Malone Palladium, January 25, 1894

The annual meeting of the Adirondack Hotel Men's Association was held at the Berkley House at Saranac Lake last Thursday evening. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—

President—D. W. RIDDLE.

Vice-Presidents—ORLANDO KELLOGG, GEORGE A. STEVENS.

Sec'y and Treas.—JOHN HARDING.

Members of the Executive Committee—

W. H. TRACY, T. E. KRUMHOLZ.

Resolutions were adopted repudiating the sensational articles recently sent out from Saranac Lake expressing antagonism toward Dr. W. S. WEBB and the VANDERBILTS and declaring them false and malicious. A fine dinner was enjoyed, at which the prospects for establishing a bank at Saranac Lake and for building a railroad from the foot to the summit of Whiteface Mountain were encouragingly considered. CHARLES E. MARTIN stated concerning the latter enterprise that the plans would take definite form within a short time and that certainly before the close of the century the road will be in full operation.
