SARANAC LAKE — Evelyn M. Boula, 67, most recently of 3-5 Riverside Drive and a lifelong resident of the village, died here Monday, Oct. 16, 1989.

She was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Lawrence, Mass., the daughter of Frank and Anna (Henry) Manley.

She was married to the late Jess Boula Oct 7, 1941. He died in 1986.

She had owned and operated the Tally Ho Restaurant here for 20 years.

She was a member of the Saranac Lake Adult Center and the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons: Donald of Buffalo and John of Lake Worth, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Barbara) Hathaway of Saranac Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Phyliss) Feinberg of Keene, Mrs. Charles (Roberta) Smith of Keene Valley and Mrs. Robert (Harriet) Bouyea of Malone; three brothers, Frank Manley of New York City; Raymond Manley of Keene Valley and Donald Manley of Saranac Lake; four grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her life long friend, Mrs. May Van Northwick of Saranac Lake.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday at the Keough and Son Funeral Home here. A Bible Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 Wednesday at the Funeral Home, followed by a VFW Auxiliary Service at 8.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard Church here. Following cremation, burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Saranac Lake Pee-Wee Hockey Association or the Saranac Lake Adult Center in care of the Keough and Son Funeral Home.
