ONEONTA - Ronald Charles Kunath, 45, of Saranac Lake, died Friday, May 10, 1996 at the M.I. Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown,
Born May 10, 1951 in Saranac Lake, he was the son of Albert and Mildred (Morrow) Kunath. He was a graduate of St. Pius X High School in Saranac Lake. He entered the U.S. Army in 1970 and served in Vietnam until his discharge in 1973.
He then enrolled at North Country Community College where he graduated with an associate's degree in criminal justice.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred Rupert, of Saranac Lake; two sons, Ronald and Martin Kunath of Saranac Lake; five brothers, Peter C. of Oneonta, Paul, Kenneth, and Jeffrey of Saranac Lake and Michael of Littleton, Colo.; four sisters, Sandra Duso, Wendy Houck, Anne Scheefer and Karen Cordaro of Saranac Lake; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home in Oneonta.
